Laura’s interest in hockey began in high school, playing for the field hockey team, and continued playing field hockey at a club level in college. She was introduced to ball hockey after moving to the Washington DC area, where she joined several leagues and the Mid-Atlantic Shot Blocks travel team. She is now a member of the women’s USA national team, heading to Switzerland to play for a Gold medal.

Sponsorship coordinators are in high demand. We are a 501(c)3 organization so everything we do is based on fundraising and sponsors. We need your help to obtain and maintain sponsors. Part of this job is being able to develop a list of potential clients. You have to contact people who might be interested in a particular event or our organization. For example, you might contact a sports drink company to sponsor the national teams. Once you have a client, you must try to maintain that sponsorship. You will work with a team of other coordinators and keep track of potential clients and where in the process you are with obtaining potential clients.
We are in great need of volunteers that would assist in writing articles, conducting interviews and doing research. With world events occurring on a bi-annual basis our media department is overwhelmed with interviews that range from in person to social media. Please contact us if you are interested in this position.
Animation and Media
Animation and Media Designer – we need someone to help us create short animations for product launches, demonstration videos, tutorials, and high quality images. It’s a great opportunity for someone fresh out of school or someone looking to build a portfolio. Work your own hours and around whatever responsibilities you currently have.
