One of many of ASHI’s goals is promoting the sport of ball hockey throughout the United States. Dave Reaser joined ASHI in 2014 with this goal in mind. Dave will be at the Junior Evaluation Camp tomorrow bright and early getting players checked in and photographed for the ASHI website. After this is complete, he will be attending the 3rd Annual Lehigh Valley Sports Hall of Fame Picnic in Northampton, PA to be inducted in their Hall of Fame for his continued dedication to the sport and growth of Dek Hockey programs for underserved youth throughout the Lehigh Valley.
Dave Reaser knows how it feels to be a youth who was an outcast and didn’t always feel like he had the support of his friends and family in times when he needed them the most. The one thing that made him feel good was playing street hockey at the park. Dave started a local team, the Williams Township Flyers, and helped to form a league with other hockey teams in the area. Even though his team was not good, they enjoyed playing and met new friends along the way. This is what hockey is all about, good times and good friends.
This is what Dave Reaser is about; he doesn’t ask for thanks or wants to be recognized individually from the team. His passion to grow ASHI and take it to the next level is unparalleled. Congratulations Dave on your induction and continued success with your future endeavors.
