Bio Info:

I began playing ball hockey when I was eight years old at Southwest Ball Hockey, a coed league in Alsip, Illinois. When I was 12, I was the first female to be awarded the Southwest Ball Hockey Sportsmanship Award. I was selected 4 times to represent Southwest Ball Hockey on the Chicago Storm team in the Midwest Regional Dek Hockey Tournament in Penn Hills, PA. As a freshman in high school, I organized an all-girls ball hockey team to compete in the Southwest Ball Hockey Spring Tournament.

Because my foundation in ball hockey instilled in me a deep love of the game, I learned how to skate in order to also play ice hockey.  I’ve been playing competitive ice hockey since I was 14. I played on the Chicago Chill, a AAA girls team, in high school and played four years on my collegiate women’s team at Western Michigan University. During my time on the WMU Mustangs, I was president for 3 years and a captain for 2 years. In 2013, I co-founded the Chicago Lady Cobras women’s ball hockey team.  We competed in the Women’s IDTA National Tournament in Leominster, MA in June 2013.
