Meet the Junior's Division Staff

Scott Tarzy

Position: General Manager - Junior's Division
Scott Tarzy joined ASHI in July of 2013 as the GM of the Jrs Division. Over the last few years Scott along with Assistant GM Joe Cataldo have institute open registration and evaluations for the Jr Division. In 2014, two Jr Teams U20 & U18 to participated in the World Jr Championships in Bratislava Slovakia with both teams winning Bronze medals. Recently in Sheffield UK, the Jr Division expanded with their first ever U16 team and their first ever medal taking Bronze in Sheffield. As previous Commissioner of Marlton Street Hockey he was responsible for overseeing the growth of the Chiefs program from 300 to 800 players. He has coached Tournament Hockey for over 10 years and was the NSHA Cadet A Coach for Marlton Chiefs Champions 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and Beaver A Marlton Chiefs Champions 2016. Scott is self employed - President of Equipment Xchange LLC for the past 15 years. He lives in Marlton NJ along with his wife Pauline, and four children Jessica, Brandon, Jon and Mathew. Currently Scott also serves as the Athletic Director for one of the largest non profit youth organizations in the States overseeing 15 different sports.

Joe Cataldo

Position: Assistant General Manager - Junior's Division
Joe Cataldo joined ASHI in January of 2015 as Assistant GM of the Juniors Division. He is extremely proud to be part of the ASHI family and their Quest for Gold. Joe has been coaching youth ball hockey since 2003. He has coached at every level, Penguin through Freshman Divisions, while achieving many successful results. During his time at the helm, Joe's teams have captured a total of 19 tournament championships, including three Midwest Regional Dek Hockey Championships, the U.S. National Dek Hockey Championship and the N.S.H.A. Nationals Championship. In addition to coaching, Joe has devoted much of his time to the administrative side. He has spent the past several years on the Board of the Marlton Street Hockey program, served as a Representative to the National Street Hockey Association, and has Chaired the Marlton "Rumbos at the Rinks" Street Hockey Tournament from 2010 through 2014. Under Joe's direction, this week long tournament has grown into one of the largest youth hockey tournaments in the country. Each year the "Rumbos" tournament plays host to over 80 teams and 1,200 players from all over the northeast region of the United States. Joe resides in Marlton, New Jersey with his wife Lisa and their two children, Nicholas and Natalie.

Bobby Jones

Position: U20 Head Coach
Bob has been a ball hockey player for the past 40 years. In 25 of those years, he has played at a high-end competitive national and international level. His passion for playing is shared by his passion for teaching. For several years Bob has coached youth recreational and tournament teams, in addition to Men’s A and C level teams. He has succeeded in winning numerous tournament championships as both a player and a coach. Bob is currently the Head Coach of Jersey Fresh, the #15 ranked men's ball hockey team in North America. Bob has trained and coached many of the current U18 and U20 Team USA prospects and brings a vast knowledge of the game to the table.

Mike Albright

Position: U18 Head Coach
Mike is currently the President of the Team Pittsburgh Dek Hockey organization. Over the past 10 years, he has coached in the Penguin, Beaver, and Cadet in-house divisions, as well as tournament travel hockey. Mike's coaching and administrative talents have greatly assisted in the growth of ball hockey in the Pittsburgh area. His leadership will go a long way in advancing the development of the U18 Team USA players in their ball hockey careers.

Mike Malloy

Position: U16 Head Coach
Mike Malloy started with ASHI as an Assistant Coach for the first ever U16 Junior USA National Ball Hockey Team. Mike has been coaching youth ball hockey for many years, and has been behind the bench for many championship teams. Mike now takes over the role of Head Coach of the U16 team.
