General Manager George Tarantino and Assistant GM Mike Zambon, along with Head Coach Cory Herschk and his tireless coaching staff, had a commitment to building this roster which started last year.  This team will represent the culmination of over a year of scouting tournaments and leagues across the US and Canada, an invitational player evaluation camp, along with many hours of film, meetings, phone calls, long drives, and discussion.

Said Mr. Tarantino – “These players displayed attributes that we believe will turn Team USA into a unit that can match up favorably with the powerhouse teams competing in the ISBHF World Ball Hockey Championships. By far the hardest part of the process has been choosing from the number of qualified players that wanted to play.

“We felt it was our responsibility to be as thorough as our lives would allow in order to have a fair and detail oriented system for making player selections. We scouted many tournaments in the United States and Canada.  We visited many leagues.  We took suggestions on players from sport leaders throughout the country.  The evaluation camp was held.  We studied our National team opponents via game film.  With all of these events having been concluded, we believe the players listed above have earned the right to compete and represent our country on the international stage.”

Head Coach Cory Herschk added – “We are very excited for the players who made the roster.  Congratulations to all of them.  We look forward with great anticipation to finalize our roster and begin our preparation camps.”
